Additionally, we provide access to experts specializing in fertility-related concerns, adoption and surrogacy. They can provide emotional support and help you navigate the challenges that may arise during the process.

What discounts on treatments and services does Sprout offer?

All Sprout members get access to negotiated rates at certain clinics, providing 5-20% off fertility treatments (fertility testing, IUI, IVF, egg freezing, etc.) and family-building services (surrogacy agency fees, prenatal supplements, etc.). Additionally, we have brand partnerships with companies like Bird&be, Ovry and Joey, offering discounts on their direct-to-consumer products.

Our current clinic partners include:

We are actively working to expand this list to bring our members even more options.

What if I’m not ready to build a family yet?

That’s totally okay. Many members join Sprout to explore their options and plan ahead. Whether you're considering fertility preservation or want to better understand your reproductive health, we’re here when you’re ready.

Coverage & Access
What if I don’t have access to Sprout through work?

We’re currently offered through employers and insurance providers like Canada Life and GreenShield. If you don’t have access, send us an email to info@sproutfamily.ca. We’d be happy to speak to your HR team or benefits provider.

Can I use Sprout with my insurance?

Coverage for fertility treatments, adoption, and surrogacy expenses varies depending on your employer's benefits package and specific insurance plan. Some plans may cover a range of fertility treatments, such as intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, fertility drugs, etc., while others may have limitations or exclusions. We will help you review your benefits package and government funding options to understand the extent of coverage and any requirements or limitations.

What if I don’t know what’s covered under my benefits?

No problem. Part of the support we offer our members is walking them through their benefits coverage, decoding the fine print, and helping each member understand what services and treatments are included.

Does Sprout help with claims or reimbursements?

Yes. If your plan includes Sprout Pay, we take care of claim submissions and reimbursements directly, making it simple and fast to access your benefits.

Can I use both Sprout and my provincial health coverage?

Yes. Our team will help you coordinate between private benefits, Sprout coverage, and public programs (like OHIP in Ontario or RAMQ in Quebec) to minimize your out-of-pocket costs.

Pricing
Do I have to pay to use Sprout?

Your Sprout Family memberships are offered by your employer as a part of your employee wellness and benefits plan.

Coverage for fertility treatments, adoption, and surrogacy expenses vary depending on your employer's benefits package and specific insurance plan. Some plans may cover a range of fertility treatments, such as intrauterine insemination (IUI), vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, fertility drugs, etc., while others may have limitations or exclusions.

We will help you review your benefits package and government funding options to understand the extent of coverage and any requirements or limitations.

As an employer, what is the cost of offering Sprout to my employees?

We charge a per-employee-per-month (PEPM) fee to offer your employees unlimited access to our Digital Health platform and the included services.

If you choose to add on Sprout Pay, we charge a Benefits Administration Fee (%) for claims paid through the program.

Are there volume discounts or tiered pricing based on company size?

Yes. The PEPM rate is based on the size of your organization. Larger organizations (i.e., those with a higher number of employees) will receive a lower monthly rate.

How long are the contract terms? Does the employer pay up front?

We offer annual contracts with flexible payment structures, including monthly and annual billing.

Can I access Sprout directly, or does it need to be part of my employer benefits?

Currently you cannot access Sprout unless it is part of your employer benefits.  If you think Sprout should be part of your benefits plan, we'd be happy to reach out to them.  Share your company information here, and we'll let them know there's interest in family-building benefits. If preferred, you can keep it anonymous by leaving your name and email blank.
